I Believe… [It Becomes About Naps]

...that, as I continue down the path of time, it is sleep that seems most important and elusive.

...that optimism isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you do, again and again, until it sticks. Until it bleeds into your muscles and grinds your molars down with friction.

...that there’s no grand orchestrator of your suffering. Just a guy trying to parallel park while texting his mistress and eating a Chalupa.

...that none of us needs as much food as we think, as much distraction as is available, or as much attention as we crave.

...that you don’t become optimistic because life is good. You become optimistic so that life can be.
