Notes from the Post-it Wall | Week of April 20, 2025
• Between the Blue Origin Failure of Feminism and JD Vance killing Pope Francis, I have not loved the internet this much since 1997 when I learned I could use it to find photos of a topless Cameron Diaz.
• Live like a Christian. Don’t act like one.
• Is ChatGPT racist? Probably not, but it’s got a bias. I asked it to create an image for me. A family in business together looking professional. It churned out the whitest, WASPiest-looking people you’ve ever seen. I wonder what it’ll give me if I ask for a family in the barbecue business or —gasp—the Oriental rug business…
• When your name is bigger than the book title, it’s probably because you’re dead. But, hey! You made it, man!
• I have failed, been wrong, fucked up, overstepped, and burned the wrong bridges time and time again. I hate to admit it, but I’ve always done just that. The guilt from it all is what has led to so many of those foibles.
• The person who can’t say sorry is often the first to demand an apology.
